Hello! My name is Alyssa Gonzales, and I am a United States Air Force Veteran and single mother. In 2020 I experienced the loss of my infant son shortly after birth very unexpectedly. A year and 6 days later, I lost my husband in a motorcycle accident while 5 months pregnant with our little girl. My life was completely uplifted and out of control. I have learned a lot about grief and worked hard to get our lives to a stable place. I wanted to help others who have been through tragedy, to share my experiences, and give others hope that our grief does not define us. While we never get over our grief, we learn to live with it in our new lives. With that, I created Flourishing Hope.
