Grief Box - The First Steps

The First Steps is a grief box for those who are in their first year post-loss. This box focuses on the immediate steps after losing a loved one such as managing finances, mental health, and maintaining self-care. Life can feel out of control when losing a loved one and finding any way to manage this new life can seem out of reach entirely. The products in this box are the first steps one will take to find that control that is very much needed during this tough time.

Each box includes:

• 1 Writing Journal with Pen – A great counseling resource when counseling isn’t available. Writing thoughts, feelings, and goals is a great step to begin the healing process.
• 1 Goal/Challenge Journal – A journal to work on rebuilding areas of your life such as finances.
• 1 Book dedicated to the specific loss, this information is collected in the questionnaire at the time of purchase.
• 3 Self-Care Items – Self-care is so important when going through grief, these products help us feel our best selves as mental health isn’t the only important thing in grief, but physical health is too.
• 1 Memorial Item – A generic memorial item is provided but there is also a list of great companies that make personalized memorial items.
• Resources – These resource items are provided based on the answers given in the questionnaire. These range from financial guidance, counseling, legal, assistance, and more.
